I’m 61 years old and have spent my life learning from real experiences, not textbooks. Growing up, we didn’t have much, but those challenges shaped who I am today. My mom worked hard to raise three kids with almost nothing, and her sacrifices taught me the importance of resilience, kindness, and putting others first. She’s my hero and the reason I’ve always believed that relationships are what matter most.
I didn’t go far in school—just finished high school by the skin of my teeth. But life had other lessons for me.
